Can High Bp And High Triglycerides Help With Pressure Sensation In Neck?
Hello, My husband is 45 years old and experiencing pressure his neck down below his chest. He said he feels like his eyes are going to pop out of his head. He is also experiencing rapid heart beat. He was diagnosed with High Blood Pressure and has high triglycerides.
Hello, welcome to healthmagic, i have read your question and understood your problem. Yes, high blood pressure and cholesterol can be responsible for chest heaviness due to blockages of heart's blood vessels. Sensation of heaviness in chest, in my opinion , is the symptom which needs to be investigated agressively if there is high blood pressure and high triglyceride, especially if chest heaviness is occuring on exsertion. If symptoms are occuring only on moderate or heavy activities i would advice an electrocardiogram followed by trademill stress test to rule out problem of blockages in the blood vessels supplying heart. If it is very severe and occuring on minimum activities then he should better visit a cardiologist. I hope i have answered your querry. Do get back to me in case you require any clarifications. Have a good and healthy day.
