I am a 47 year old female, who two weeks ago went to my doctor complaining of sudden onset of headache in right eye, radiating pain in legs, numbness, tingling, as well as burning sensations on thighs and tingling and numbness on right side of face. My doctor recommended and MRI. I have since had added symptoms of burning, tingling and numbness in my arms, hands. The results states state that there are at least 3 foci of hyperintense T2& Flair in the lateral subcortical right frontal white matter. along with on focus of hyperintense T2& Flair in the lateral subcortical left frontal white matter, and a fifth singular focus of hyperintense T2& Flair in the mesial left subcortical frontal white matter. The report states that because of my age this is most like indicative of MS and I have been referred to a neurologist for further testing. I have high blood pressure as well and my question is could these signal also be indicative of this. I have a few weeks to go before I talk to the neurologist and I am somewhat concerned and wonder if I should get a second opinion or just be patient and wait to talk to the Neurologist.
