Can History Of Keloids Cause Any Infection If Nose Pierced?

My daughter wants to get her nose pierced,I am concerned of the possibility of infections, side affects, she had developed keloids on her ears and had to remove her ear rings. there fore is she more susceptible to rejections and infections as a result of her history?

Hi,

You are thinking in right way. Your daughter has history of keloid,so she is likely to develop keloid anywhere on body at the site of minor to major trauma. She might develop keloid or foriegn body granuloma after piercing the nose at the site of the procedure. So, I humbly request you to avoid such procedures on her body. I hope you got my answer.
