Can Home Pregnancy Tests Give False Negative Results?

I have been experiencing most of the symptoms of pregnancy at the 8 week point-nausea, sore abdomen and breasts, pain in the lower back, frequent urination, cant sleep, drowsiness, moodiness, craving salty foods, and even aversion to sweet foods. I have been on Seasonique birth control for 2 months. I took two at home pregnancy tests this morning and both were negative. what gives?

Hello dear,I understand your concern.In my opinion the chances of pregnancy are very less while on birth control pills.The urine pregnancy test wont give false negative tests.If you have taken the pills correctly without missing then the pregnancy is rare.Sometimes the thought of pregnancy also makes one to feel pregnancy symptoms.The delay in period might be due to hormonal imbalance so consult doctor.
