Can Hysterectomy Correct Squamous Metaplasia?

Hi had a polyp removed for a biopsy. Results came back with signs of the squamous metaplasia. Also signs of stromal lymphocytes and plasma cells. I have had chronic pains for over a year. I have been to all kinds of doctors, with all kinds of test. The last gastro specialist suggested seeing a OBGYN. Can this pain come from this and will a hysterectomy correct it. I am 53 yrs old.
