Can I Get HIV Inspite Of Having Negative Blood Results?
I had an exposure 5 1/2 months before with a sexual worker. Further to my doctor's advice I had been tested after one month and repeated after 91st day of exposure . Both results were come with negative result and Doctor suggested not to test again and confirmed me that 3 months test is conclusive. At the same time I have read on the Internet in some articles that the window periods may extend from 3 to 6 or 1 year. For this reason I am really confussed and above all mentally stressed and anxious.
I had vaccine for meningitis 2 - 1/2 years before the exposure and my Doctor adviced this vaccine no way affect may HIV results. I never experienced any single symptom after the exposure.
The above mentioned negative result test after 3 moth is Elisa antibody test (ELFA method) with result range of observed value: 0.08 and the range:
Does it indicate the observed value 0.08 any way indicacte that the chances of developing antiboidies later?.
Your kind review and response is highly appreciated.
