Hi Doc,
I am 10 weeks pregnant. I just had my first u/s and the report was "Single 2.2cms intra uterine gestation sac with a well defined decidual reaction. Single 5mms yolk sac and fetal pole present with absent cardiac activity. The gestation age comes out to be 5 weeks and cul.de.sac shows no free fluid. Please let me know what are the chances of pregnancy in my case. Am I pregnant. Awaiting your reply.

OBGYN, Maternal and Fetal Medicine 's  Response
Hi,

The chances of pregnancy is very poor in this situation, as by 10 weeks cardiac activity is sure to occur, look to see if vaginal bleeding occurs or not.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Sujoy S. Bhattacharjee, OBGYN, Maternal and Fetal Medicine
