Can I Get Pregnant Post Unprotected Sex Despite Missing A Microgestin Fe?
Hi, so I've been on microgestin fe for a month now. I'm a first Sunday starter and was supposed to start my second month today.. which I forgot to.. Friday was the last time I had sex, I was wondering the effect of not taking it today? What the chances are of getting pregnant, and what to do? Thanks in advance
Hi, I have gone through your question and understand your concerns. Regular and consistent intake of oral contraceptive pills is must to maintain its contraceptive efficacy. Missing pills increase the chances of failure of oral contraceptive pills, hence there are chances of pregnancy. Since you had intercourse while on pill, forgetting to start new pack today will not have any effect. You should take the next pill as soon as possible. Hope you found the answer helpful.
