Can I Get Pregnant Post Unprotected Sex Despite Missing A Birth Control Pill?

Hi. I'm also on the pill but honestly I hadn't been taking it like I should've because before him I was a virgin and only used it to subside period symptoms. Previously we had been using condoms but on April 18, we decided to go without a condom. The problem is, I had missed 4-5 pills out of the first row of that pill pack and I was on the final days of my placebo. I took a plan b pill on April 18 around 10am. I know the plan b delays menstruation so when can I take a home pregnancy test?

Hi,
I understand your query.
You had missed 5 pills in first row pills, taken remaining 14 pills regularly & were on placebo pills when you had unprotected sex. It was followed by plan B on same day.
I don't think you have a chance to conceive as you had taken about 14 pills of oc in a row, & taken a double precaution by taking Plan B. You wont need pregnancy test.You will get your periods delayed by about 8 days. Still in case of doubt, you can go for blood pregnancy test after 3 weeks of unprotected sex/ urine test after 5 weeks of sex...
Please understand, cyclical OC need to be taken regularly at a fixed time of a day.... for 100% results.Irregular consumption is associated wit risk of pregnancy/ fetal abnormalities/ tension.
