Hello;
welcome to HealthcareMagic
Intetrix is a drug used in amoebiasis and diarrhoea.There is no study or evidence which shows that the drug is teratogenic but like all other drugs it should not be used during pregnancy untill the potential benefit outweighs the risks.Normally the contraindication of almost all drugs should be maintained strictly in first three months as the risk of teratogenicity is more in first trimester.If your doctor has prescribed it she should have done so keeping in mind that you are pregnant so take it as advised and for the specific period then consult her.
Thanks
