Can I Use Hair Oil While Applying Mintop?

Hi Sir, I am Ashish Age 25, I have been using Mintop 10% from 2 month, I want to know Can I use hair oil with applying Mintop? bec of my hair look very dull and whitish bec of alcohol in Mintop ? I had also used 10% 1 year ago and I have very good result from it

Thank you for writing to HCM.

Yes, alcohol present in anti hairloss lotion tends to dry your scalp and you may get whitish flakes on scratching. This is the drug after evaporation of the alcohol.

If hair oil is applied on your scalp then it forms a thin layer and doesn't allow the topical medication to penetrate your scalp. Thus the whole purpose of using topical medication is lost.

You can wipe your scalp with wet cotton to remove the whitish scales before each application.

You can apply oil half an hour before you wash your hair.
