Can Increase Of Invega Dosage Cause Side Effects?

My mentally disabled brother is on Cymbalta and Invega. His dose of Invega was recently increased. He has also recently developed swelling of his legs and feet (below the knee) and is not a usual side affect of Invega. He is considerably overweight too but has not been an issue

Hello.Although is not a common side effect, have been reported cases of leg vein thrombosis related to Paliperidone intake.Swelling of feet and leg (below the knee) on one leg, it is necessary to rule out venous thrombosis.Swelling of feet and leg (below the knee) in both legs, your doctor should consider other causes such as
heart,kidney or liver pathology.
I wish you good health.
