Can Intake Of Amlong 5mg Tablet Cause Side Effects Like Swollen Legs?

I have been using Amlong 5mg tablet 1 per day during morning for B.P control. I always will have slight Legs swelling otherwise this tablet is perfect for me. I just want to know leg swelling will lead to any other problem over a period of time.Is this a safe tablet. Please advise. Recently, doctor suggested me to also take 2.5 mg during night.

In between one of the Doctor advised to take Olmax 40 mg instead of Amlong. But with this tablet, I very offen suffered from head ache and hence switched back.

Can you please suggest me the best tablet that does't have any side effect for me instead of Amlong.

I really appreciate your concern the tab that you are taking is calcium channel blocking drug and this does not cause any side effect not even the leg swelling, if you have a leg swelling then this could be due to uncontrolled Blood pressure, the best drug to control the Blood pressure is Potassium spearing diuretic, you can discus this with your doctor, hope this information helps you have nice day.
