Can Intake Of Calcium And Vitamin Supplements Cause Dry Throat?
I have been taking a calcium supplement that had vit. C, Vit D3 2,000 IU Vit. K2 100 mcg calcium from Red Algae magnesium 500 mg and a couple other minerals for a couple days - noticed in the middle of night last night a very dry throat that was not relieved by drinking water. Also had it happen again today. Is that a side effect or an allergy possibly?
I went through the history you have provided here. It seems from the history that you are having sore throat. Intake of calcium and vitamin supplements will not lead to sore throat. The common causes for sore throat are infections, inflammations and allergy. The treatment of sore throat is by use of antibiotics, anti-inflammatory drugs.
Do consult your Physician doctor for examination to find out the underlying cause and treatment accordingly.
Hope this information is helpful. Do write back to me for further questions.
Thank you
