Can Intercourse Immediately After Period Reduce Pregnancy Chances?
After my boyfriend and I have intercourse I notice a slight itching for approximately 10- 15 mins and then it goes away. We do use condoms every time and my mother assumes that it is the condoms that is causing the itching. She suggested to me to wait until 5 days after my period is done and then I can have sex without the condom and I cant get pregnant. I want to know if this information is valid? if so, then this is something I wouldn't mind trying.

I really understand your concern, this is called safe period and for the you must be having normal ovulation phase then this works very nicely, if coitus done after the menses before the ovulation and that could be 14 days then pregnancy could be avoided, but there must be normal ovulation and according to the physiological schedule, hope this information helps, take care.
