Can Irregular Period And Stretch Marks Be A Sign Of Pregnancy?
Hi, so my girl friend and I had sex on the 13th of August and her period started like a week after that and ended on the 27th. Now she claims that her period is late but I know that a normal period is 28-35 days apart and today is the 28th day since the 27th I counted the days on a calendar. She has been under a lot of stress lately thinking that she's pregnant also her parents found out we had sex so she also could be late if my calculations are incorrect. When we had sex I used a condom and pulled out before I ejaculated. I told her that I'd pretty much have to be a wizard for her to be pregnant. She's still pretty stressed about it though. She was a virgin when we had sex and so was I. I heard that losing her virginity could also delay her period. Also she has stretch marks on her boobs and her hips which I believe are just a normal part of puberty and her mother has big hips which she has inherited. Plus she's doing weights class so she could be gaining muscle mass which will cause stretch marks. Also she's gotten sick in the morning like 4 times...I don't know what to think of that. I recommended that she get a pregnancy test but she insisted on waiting it out. I care lots about her and don't want her to worry anymore. I also don't want to worry anymore I've been worried sick. So do you guys think she's pregnant? My story is 100% true/accurate

Can Irregular Period And Stretch Marks Be A Sign Of Pregnancy?
Hi, Welcome to HCM! Since your girlfriend had her periods after a week of having sex, she cannot be pregnant. If she was pregnant, she wouldn t have had periods at all. The symptoms that she is experiencing is likely due to her stress and anxiety. Make her understand that she is not pregnant. Also, do a Urine pregnancy kit test to confirm that she is not pregnancy. On seeing a negative test, she ll also feel better. Hope this information helps. Feel free to ask if you have any doubts. With regards, Dr. Sridhar
