For the last 3 days, my (left) upper arm has been (and still is) very painful. It feels like some nerves in the muscles have been twisted. I cannot hold my left arm (and left hand) up, and it is very painful (upper left arm) when I get dressed. I am taking Advil 200 every 4 hours and it helps a little. The same thing happened to me on my right arm 2 months ago and it the pain gradually (and totally) disappeared over 4-5 days. I am 57 years old, married, no children, I like to exercise, I eat very well and I only weigh 112 lbs. Is it a symptom of lack of calcium or other vitamins/minerals caused by post menopause? Thank you.
