Can Lactogen Be Given Instead Of Lactodex To A Child?
Hello Doctor.. my baby is 5 months old. since her birth we were giving her lactodex lbw n then lactodex 1. since last month we had started lactogen 1. this change has brought a change in her motion. earlier she passes stool with a difficulty. but the colour was yellow. but since we started lactogen the colour of her motion has changed to dark grey, green, but now she can pass motion easily.. my question is now my family members wants to change her food again n bring back to lactodex... is it safe for mybaby to bring such frequent changes in her food???
Hi...these are expected changes due to her change in feeds. Please do not worry. It is normal for any baby at this age to do have these changes when feed is changed. There is no harm in changing feeds unless she is having weight loss or blood in stools or persistent vomiting. Hope my answer was helpful for you. I am happy to help any time. Further clarifications and consultations on Health care magic are welcome. If you do not have any clarifications, you can close the discussion and rate the answer. Wish your kid good health.
