Can Laxatives Be Used For Constipation While Having Flu?
I have the flu and I do not believe it is bad enough to warrant a doctors visit, I am steadily getting better. However, my constipation is the worst I ve ever experienced and every time I move there is a shooting pain in my upper left abdominal. I know this is probably just gas but my question is: Is it safe to use laxatives while you have the flu if you are staying properly hydrated? I know this might make my flu worse, but I d rather have the flu than constipation, its awful! Help me please!

It is safe only to use laxative even if you have flu. There is no harm in taking it.
You can go ahead taking laxative to get relief from constipation.
Try to drink more fluids and have a high fiber diet.
