Hello!
Thank you for asking on HCM!
I read your question carefully and understand your concern.
Your symptoms seem to be just normal body reactions to the
cold weather.
You should know that our body has several reflexes, which exist to protect us against the several risks of the environment (including heat, cold, aggression, etc.).
In this case, in the skin, which comes first in contact with the cold air
vasoconstriction occurs (to avoid the further temperature exchange with the so rounding environment). The chatecolamines which are responsible for vessel constriction, cause at the same time
tachycardia, while acting on the heart.
I would like to know your age.
I would recommend monitoring your blood pressure and performing a routine check up (physical examination, resting ECG and lab blood tests), to control if everything is OK ( and exclude possible low blood pressure or chronic
anemia which may cause similar symptoms).
Hope to have been helpful!
Feel free to ask any other questions, whenever you need!
Best regards,
Dr. Iliri
