My dad has gone through a major brain hammerage.. there was a big blood clot on the right side of the brain.. neurosurgeon removed the clot and the operation took 6 hours long.. its been around 72 hours past after the operation and still hes in unconsciouss state.. hes in ICU and is on life support system.. ECG was done 12 hours back and it doesn t show any activity in the brain.. are there any further treatment that can be followed to make the brain go active again? Or what is to be done next?

The Big Blood Clot is the cause of the Unconsciousness. Even though it has been removed, it would have exerted pressure on the brain till it was removed. Till the brain recovers from that pressure, the person will be in Coma
