Can Manic Depression Lead To Paranoid Schizophrenia?
Hello, I was diagnosed when I was 12 with manic depression. Lately, my depression has gotten worse and I feel I have no control of what I do anymore. I m worried that how I am feeling lately could be symptoms of schizophrenia. Paranoid schizophrenia is inherited every other generation on my mom and dads side of the family.
If you have a genetical orientation towards paranoid schizophrenia, you also may have the risk. But, you can avert it with proper lifestyle changes using CBT.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
