Can Masturbation Frequency Cause Persistent Chest Pain And Headaches With H. Pylori?

Hello Doctor, I have been masturbating for over 12 years (once in 3 days on the average). Since the beginning of last year I have been having this episode of chest pains, headaches, sick feeling, chest palpitations which goes and comes back. I was diagnosed thru endoscopy to have H.pylori which I got treatment several times. In addition to that I noticed few months back that after masturbation, the next day I have headaches, chest pain that last like a day or two (didn t really pay attention to that) but in the last 3-4 months I actually confirmed it that after masturbation or sex the next day comes with headaches, chest pains, feeling or cold and hot, lack of concentration etc and last for almost a week. This is really disturbing and it s messing me up, I have tried to reduce masturbating in the last 6 weeks to about once in 2 weeks but my last masturbation of about 8days now is still affecting me as I have those symptoms.

Hello,

Some people do experience orgasm headache before or during sexual climax. Do not ignore headaches after or during sex, get clinically examined by a GP. If your GP finds no underlying cause, he will give medicines like beta blockers or metoprolol to treat you & help you feel better. Triptans, can be taken an hour before sex to avoid headaches.

If you have continuous headache then you are advised to abstain from sex until the pain is gone. Sometimes, pain is triggered by certain positions or actions during sex, like oral sex or kneeling for sex. So, avoid repeating it to limit the pain from reoccurring. Stopping intercourse before orgasm or taking a passive role in sex can also help to prevent headache.

Since you are also suffering from chest pain & palpitations after sex or masturbation you are advised to get clinically examined by a GP. Get cardiac function tests, lipid function tests, echo, EKG, stress test, X-ray, blood test, etc., done to rule out or detect any developing coronary artery disease. You will be treated accordingly. Periodic health check-ups are advised to diagnose the cause of the symptoms so that you can be treated at the earliest.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
