Can Maternal Intake Of Progynova / Norethisterone Spike Alkaline Phosphate Levels In Breastfed Infant?
hi, I am currently breastfeeding my 1-mth old baby. I went to a gynae to consult period problem and the gynae gave me Progynova 1mg and Norethisterone 5mg and I've consumed for a couple of days. My baby has jaundice problem and yesterday did a blood test. The alkaline phosphatase level was extremely high. Would like to check if those 2 medicine affect the alkaline phosphatase level?will it affect my baby's liver and any way to cure it?

Mild Cholestasis ( elevated liver enzyme) is common following intake of Oestrogen pill by lactating pills. Shirt term use is unlikely to cause any long term intake on baby.
