Can Medication Cause Delay In Periods?

I am having hyponidd two tablets morn and two at night for the last one month.My periods this month is delayed by 6 days.It normally is bang on time.So I was wondering if that is the reason.I had severe pain in my back for four years as there was a cyst in my ovary.but in my last ultra sound it is not there.

It is used as supportive therapy for the management of the polycystic ovarian disease and helps to regulate the menstrual cycle. Sudden increase in physical activity, severe dieting, nutritional deficiency, thyroid disorders and extreme stress can also cause delayed periods.
