Hello,I´ve searched for an answer in many sites but none of them has given me any return.I really apreciate for your atention.I am really concerned about a situation: i slept with a girl last week but she was menstruating. So, actually, we did not have sex. She was wearing bikini and i was wearing shorts and underwear. So she started rubbing her vagina on my penis for several minutes. We kept our clothes on all the time. Now, i am afraid some blood or vaginal fluid may came into contact with my penis. Do i have any chance of contract HIV like this?? Thank you so much for your atention.
Thank you for query.if there is any barrier like cloth or condom it is unlikely for the virus to pass through it provided there are no holes or pores in it.if there is contact with the fluids or menstrual blood or secretions there are chances of transmission especially if there are abrasions or ulcers.if the contact period is long also there are more chances.all these provided in one of them has active HIV infection. You can get back to me for any clarifications .Dr Bharatesh D Basti Dermatologist and Venereologist
Hi You Needleshave 0% chance of getting HIV as you Do not participate in actual sexual act. HIV is transmitted by participating in unprotected sexual activity with HIV positive person or by blood transfusion from HIV positive person or by sharing Needles from Hiv positive person. So in your case nothing has happened so there is no chance of HIV even during menstruation
