Can Migraine Causes Throbbing Vein Near Eyes And Blurred Vision?

I have a twitch or "throbbing"vein or artery right above my right eye. You can see it pulse & then all of a sudden stops. I have also had horrible headaches while this is happening, maybe migraines (nausea, sensitivity to light). This has been for about a week. Sometimes i feel light my vision is also not as good during my headaches. I have had extreme stress and anxiety lately, I was wondering if this was just a result of that.

Neurologist 's  Response
Hello!

Welcome on Healthcaremagic!

Your symptoms could be related to temporal arteritis, which is a serious medical disorder.

For this reason, I recommend consulting with a neurologist for a careful neurological exam and some tests:

-a brain MRI study
- complete blood count, sedimentation rate and PCR.

Hope you will find this answer helpful!
Kind regards, Dr. Aida
