Can Missed Tri-Sprintec Pills And Early Bleeding Be Remedied To Prevent Pregnancy?
So I am supposed to start my menstrual cycle in 7 days; however I have started bleeding. My ovulation date was supposed to end yesterday according to the calendar. I have been on tri-sprintec for 15 years but recently missed a couple days at the beginning of the month. We had an accident this morning and I’m wondering if I can take extra pills to compensate for this or what I need to do to prevent any pregnancy?

Hi,
If you had missed two pills in early days of starting the pack, and have been taking. Pills continuously for at least 15 days after the error, and you didn't have unprotected sex before the recent accident. Mostly the ovulation would be prevented & there would be normal withdrawal bleeding within 8 days after finishing current pack. Please wait for that. In case of delay in period by 10 days of stopping the pack, you need to consult your doctor.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
