Hello and thanks for the query, It seems that the urine test was positive but faint and blood test was negative. This may be due to either a missed abortion giving rise to weak positive results that may turn negative later or a false positive urine test. It is best to wait for a few more days, say a week and repeat the test with a morning urine sample. If it is still negative and you have not got your periods, get an ultrasound to look for other causes like ovarian cysts. A hormonal imbalance or stress may also produce similar picture and will need an investigation. Hope this satisfies your query. Thanks for using HCM.
