Internal Medicine Specialist 's  Response
Hello
I understand your concern.
Neurontin is a medication that helps with pains from peripheral neuropathy. Neurontin does not cause blood in the urine.
Depending on the area of radiation, this may have affected his bladder and cause the blood in the urine. First, he should have a urinalysis to rule out any infection, as this is the most common cause of blood in the urine. If that is normal, he should have a urine cytology test and a cystoscopy of the bladder to see the lining of the bladder to make sure there are no polyps or tumors in the bladder.
Best regards
