Can Numbness And Tingling In Feet Be Symptoms Of Morton S Neuroma?
In jan of 2014 I hurt my right foot. All symptoms pointed to Mortons Neuroma. About 1-2 months later I starting feeling numbness and tingling on the soles of both feet and then burning and aching. That has lessened over time and now I get it only when standing, walking longer distances. However the palms of my hands are now burning and feeling hot and raw. I ve done many blood tests, all negative. The neuroma neuroma is negative based on an MRI however it is somewhat sore to touch and feels inflamed. Any ideas? No diabetes, no hypothyroidism,no Lyme, no vit b deficiencies.
Hi,Thanks for your query. After going through your query I came to know that you are suffering from numbness and tingling of both feet . You have ruled out diabetes, hypothyroidism,Lyme, vit b deficiencies. Now there are two possibilities one in spinal i.e. there is pressure of one of nerves at lumbar spine level. For this MRI of lumber spine is helpful. Treatment of it is back exercises , Mecobalamin and analgesic such as ibuprofen. Second possibility is vascular cause. There may be narrowing of one or more arteries of lower limb leading to impaired circulation. Its treatment is vasodilator drugs . Mecobalamine is also helpful in recovery. Analgesics such as ibuprofen are given for pin relief. You can discuss with your treating Doctor about it. I do hope that you have found something helpful. If you have additional questions or follow up queries then please do not hesitate in writing to us. I will be happy to answer your queries. Wishing you good health. Take care.
