Hi
Dr. Purushottam welcomes you to HCM virtual clinic!
Thanks for consulting at my virtual clinic. I have carefully gone through your query, and I think I have understood your concern. I will try to address your medical concerns and would suggest you the best of the available treatment options.
1.First of all do not panic.
2.With history of regular cycles, and with delay of 9 days; if
pregnancy tests are negative - both on urine and blood tests, you can assume that you are not pregnant.
3. Your treating doctor has given you
progesterone (
Duphaston ) with a thinking that it is not harmful to pregnancy, even if you are pregnant.
I will suggest you to complete the course suggested and wait for withdrawal bleeding for 3 to 10 days.
If you still don't get menses, then get USG done.
4. Please get proper sex counseling done.
As per your wish to get pregnancy or to prevent pregnancy,
you will get proper advice.
I hope this answer was helpful to you!
Thank you and best regards!
