Can One Drink Alcohol Before Having A Septoplasty?

Hi I am having a septoplasty next Monday and I am planning on going out with some friends next Friday, 3 days before my surgery. Should I be drinking? If so how much? Also smoking weed? I refrain from telling my doctor these things as I view them as private. Thanks

Thanks for your query. I have gone through your query.
As far as the consumption of alcohol is concerned, you are not suppose to consume alcohol 24-48hours prior to any surgical procedures. You need to inform about your alcohol history to the doctor. I hope i have answered your query. Take care.
