Can Ordent tablet be used for tongue pain ? Hi, I am Vineeth Nolan. I just wanted to know wether Ordent tablets can be used for tongue pain. My father had tooth pain and he used Ordent tablets and it was over but now his tongue has started paining so I wanted to know if he can take the Ordent tablets once more ?

thanks for your query, i have gone through your question,
ofloxacin (tab ordent) is antibiotic, without knowing the cause its better not to take antibiotic...you can take any pain killer for time being and consult a oral physician for complete intraoral examination and diagnosis..the pain in the tongue could be because of an ulcer or any growth..
