Simple ovarian cysts if small may regress by themselves and not need any treatment.
Sometimes a 3 months therapy with progesterone anlaogue drugs is used and has shown some benefits. However big cysts are less likely to regress. The only issue with conservative treatment is sometimes the cysts get twisted and then emergency surgery may be needed in such cases. Antibiotics are used if an infection is suspected so please discuss this with your gynecologist. You may try using progesterone for 3 months. If the cysts are still there then may be a laparoscopy will help. Hope this satisfies your query. Thanks for using HCM. Feel free to ask any more questions that you may have.
