Can Ovarian Cysts Causes Pain In Bowels?

I was diagnosed with ovarian cysts in April and my gynecologist said they were too small to do anything with to just take ibuprofen for the pain. Now I have missed periods and stomach fullness sometimes. Difficulties with pain when trying to move my bowels. Are these all symptoms of these cysts?

Hello,
Welcome to HCM.

Yes,ovarian cyst may cause pain in abdomen but it not commonly seen unless there is some sort of infected fluid inside cyst.

Your missed periods and stomach fullness could also be related to this ovarian cyst.

You may go for some routine blood works and abdominal ultrasound to confirm the size of cyst.

Consult gynecologist for antibiotic treatment with other symptomatic medications.

Meanwhile, you should continue with ibuprofen for symptomatic relief from pain in abdomen.
