Can Overeating Cause Dizziness, Shivers, Diarrhea And Vomiting?

Hi Doctor, I had a Big Breakfast and a Big lunch and not enough time for suggestion in between. I then started having a headache, diziness and a little shivering and 4 hours after that (10 to 15mnts ago)...diaria, and vomiting. I still have the headache. Is there anything i need to do to be able to be ok and sleep well tonight (now) ? Thanks Very Much, Mona.

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

All the symptoms are suggestive of dyspepsia, food could be the cause. Such condition may not need any specific medicine but symptomatic medicine can be tried for headache and vomiting.
However, diarrhea should never be stopped else it may cause the distension of abdomen due to stopping the movement of guts and collection of gas and stool material. Let the things come out and take best care for hydration, severe case may need hospitalization.

I hope I have answered your query. Let me know if you have any further questions.
Regards,
Dr. Akhtarhusain
