Hi,I am Dr. Prabhakar Koregol (Cardiologist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I'm a 42 yr old female and weigh about 335. I have been exercising/jogging and eating healthier. I have lost about 45lbs and been noticing my blood pressure has been lower than it has been. It has been running 106/62 to 125/81, but mostly in the lower range. Was just wondering if this is possible for someone whose overweight to have a low bp?
Hello, thanks for your question. Your blood pressure is not low. Low blood pressure is 90/60 mmHg and below. Reduction in blood pressure is normal in athletes, it does not indicate any problem. I advise you to continue eating healthy and exercise. Stay healthy. Warm regards
