Can Pain, Soreness And Diarrhoea Be Due To Impacted Stones In Bile Duct?
I had my gallbladder removed in January of this year laprascopically. The surgeon was unable to remove some impacted stones in the bile duct adjoining the gallbladder. Instead of calling in a gastro doctor, he closed me up and said I may or may not have problems with them. I ve had problems ever since. I have soreness and pain in my upper left side and horrible sounds. My bowel movement is often loose and yellow in color. Are the stones still there? He said the duct was impacted full and he could not get them.
Depending upon clinical examination and above test results, there might be need of MRCP (Magnetic resonance Cholangiopancreatography) and/or (ERCP) Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiopancreatography.
