Can Persistent Ear Wax With Slight Bleeding And Head Pain Be Treated?
Hi have had trouble with hearing/earwax for the past four months approximately. It effects both ears It has gotten worse recently in my left ear. Occasionally it wakes me up at night with a sharp continuous pain. I have also had sharp pain in the right side of my head when taking deep breaths. I am taking an oral contraceptive and an antibiotic prescribed to me by my dermatologist for acne. The pain in the right side of my head started about 4 days ago and is random upon taking a deep breath. The left ear trouble started to get worse 1-2 weeks ago. I have used q tips to try and clean my ears as well as hot water which no longer helps and everytime I shower water gets trapped in my ear. Tonight I notice a very small amount of blood on the end of the q tip. I am quite frustrated with these conditions, what do you think I should do?
hi....I personally think that if wax is the culprit than you should not use Q tips ....as you might have traumatised the ear canal and hence blood stained tip also what you'll end up doing is pushing the wax further inside andthat ways it can become impacted.....see an ent doctor....I hope this can lower your frustration.
