Can Pimples On The Penis Head Be Herpes?

I have developed pimples on the edge of penis head.I feel it is like extra growth an it is not uniform throughout the circumference of penis.It is more on both the sides.It doesnt cause m any pain. I am 26 yrs old my height is 5.65 feet. 5 to 6 yrs back i had herpes and had no significant attack after it was cured.I am worried if it is not related to that again.Plese help.

Hello and welcome to HCM.
Your concern is understandable. Your so called pimples on penis head are unlikely to be herpes. As an Urologist, i can assure you, herpes isn't known to recur like that, especially on the penis.
It would be advisable to send a photograph for expert opinion in my name.
Or you could show it to local Urologist for expert diagnosis and treatment.If you had intercourse with different partners', get your VDRL and HIV tested.
Maintain good penile hygiene.wish you a speedy recovery.
