Can Pregnancy Happen Despite Taking A Morning After Pill?

My ovulation day was October 5th I had sex the same day I took the morning after pill My period was due on the 19th it s now four days late . I took a test and it had two lines one bright and the other pale i went to my doctor he said I was pregnant I told him I m not ready for another one he gave me porvera 10mg can that cause me to lose it

Hi there, I have understood your concern and I will suggest you the best possible treatment options.

I will suggest you to get morning's first sample of urine tested for pregnancy,in case of any doubt blood beta HCG test and USG will be of help.

If you are pregnant then injection of progesterone will not help to get periods or to terminate the pregnancy.

If youdo not want to continue with the pregnancy then you can opt for termination of pregnancy with abortion pills under medical supervision safely till 9 weeks of pregnancy.

Please seek sex counseling about safe and protected sex activity,this will help to prevent unwanted pregnancy and STDs.
