Can Pressure In Bladder Area And Back Pain Be Cured Without Hysterectomy?

I just had a ct scan at er and was told I had a fibrous tumor on my uterus 9 cm and was told I would probably need a hysterectomy. I am 56 and my periods stopped 4 years ago, always had easy periods, only having pressure in bladder area and back pain flank area. Can these be treated without hysterectomy and can they be cancerous

Hello dear
Understand your concern.
Pressure in bladder area and back pain are due to fibrous tumour.
Nature of the tumor can be determined by pathology report.
But it can be concerted in to malignancy.
It can cause haemoorhage and infections.
As size is large, better to do hysterectomy.
As chance of recurrence may be there.
You can also done myomectomy but its depend on pathology report.

So better to consult the gynecologist and take proper treatment
Hope this may help you
Best regards
