Can 'primolut-nor' Be Taken To Delay A Period?

Hi, I am 26 years old (45 kg) and I want to delay my monthly bleeding (it falls on my wedding date). The doctor prescribed me to start taking Primolut nor two weeks before expected bleeding (2 pills/day) and when to stop using it when I want my bleeding to begin. Is he right?
