Can Procto Glyvanol Be Used Safely During Pregnancy?
Hello. I m 6 weeks pregnent and after advising my doctor he told me to use procto glyvanol. I used it only once two hours ago, my husband just read the instructions which says specifically not to use in the first three months. Is there a risk to the baby after one time? I am so scared and sad. Thanks Noa

Yes indeed, it is advised to use this medication from the 4th month of pregnancy especially because it can interfere with the growth and development of the fetus that takes place during the first 3 months of pregnancy. But I doubt there should be much damage if taken only once, so please do avoid further dosages and take a second opinion from another doctor.
