Hi welcome to HCM. The elevated blood pressure in your case could be of high cholesterol levels.Treatment compliance with lifelong antihypertensive medications will be useful.Restriction of dietary salt intake to less than 6 gm/day will help to control the blood pressure.Maintain the average blood pressure to less than 130/80 mm of hg.Semiannual cardiac monitoring in the form of ECG and 2 dimensional echo is needed.Consult your cardiologist for further queries.
