Can Rhinitis Cause Crack In The Top Of The Nostril?

I'm a 50 year old healthy male that suffers from rhinitis throughout the year. About a month ago, I developed a crack/split in the top edge of one of my nostrils. It continues to remain irritated and red even though I've applied bacitracin on the area several times a day. What can I do to heal my nose!

in my opinion this crack is the excoriation of skin due to constant rhinitis. you should get treatment for rhinitis, this crack will get healed on its own. I would recommend antiallergic and antihistaminic medication and topical steroid as well. avoidance of any known allergens dusts will help .
