Can Saffron Help Cure Cancer?

Thank you for offering your help. I am interested in the use of Saffron to fight/slow the spread of cancer. My two key questions: 1. What are reliable sources for medical grade Saffron (as tinctures, powders, capsules) and who might certifies their products? 2. I am missing any references to systematic tests with large number of patients
