can sex during pregnancy be detrimental to the child?
my fiance is eight weeks pregnant with my child, we've been back and forth on the topic of having sexual intercourse during the pregnancy, we've even done some research, most of the research forums have agreed with my standpoint which is the fact that the fetus is surrounded by amniotic fluid in the uterus, and the uterus itself has strong muscles that also offer protection for the baby. She has been progressing normally so far throughout the pregnancy, thus far we have not had any complications. She has two medical conditions which are irrelevant to the development of the baby, those are:
scoliosis and exima, beyond that she is perfectly healthy, is sexual activity safe during any stage of pregnancy, especially the first trimester?
