Can Skin Grafting Be Done When Suffering From Systemic Scleroderma?

i am 61 and have systemic scleroderma for 22 years. i fell really hard wity all my weight on my elbow on a tarred walkway. the skin is thin on my elbow and i had a big triangular gash that exposed bone and tendon...compound fracture, took 40 stitches, and have 3 breaks in the elbow. i fell on the 12th of dec. it is healing well, but the surgeon said i am not out of the woods yet for a skin graft. can a succesful skin graft be done with my systemic scleroderma.....due to a complete arm cast, can onlt type with one hand.
